Calling All Tribes, the party co-promoted with Buster Bennett was the successor to legendary midweek party Nag Nag Nag. Nag was internationally renowned as one of the most directional experimental parties in the world. This was a tough legacy to live up to, but when C.A.T launched with an explosion of press hype and a roadblock outside the venue we knew we were onto something special.
HERE IS A SAMPLE OF OUR EARNEST PITCH TO GET THE HOTTEST SLOT IN CLUBLAND:
“Calling all tribes is a multi-media event that aims to unite the often disparate creative circles that exist in and beyond London – we aspire to synergise the most exciting elements of each of these groups into one exhilarating whole, a new and distinct directional force. Our party will celebrate the diversity of fashion, music, art and personal expression that is unique to our time and unite counter-cultural movements across the board. This is not an elitist project for select cliques, this is a genuine and self-conscious attempt to engage with and offer a space for creative ingenuity. This is a polysexual event, obviously.”
